- those aged 2 and 3 years on 31 August 2022
- those aged 6 months to under 50 years in clinical risk groups (ie those with asthma, COPD or other chronic respiratory disease, chronic heart disease, chronic kidney disease, chronic liver disease, chronic neurological disease, diabetes, immunosuppression, asplenia or dysfunction of the spleen, adults with a Body Mass Index ≥40 kg/m²
- pregnant women
- all those aged 50 years and over, including those that will be 50 before 31st March 2023
- carers / in receipt of carer’s allowance / or main carer of an older or disabled person
- close contacts of immunocompromised individuals
